We understand that once you have found a puppy you wish to adopt, or simply have fallen in love with a picture, you want to meet that puppy and adopt as quickly as possible.  We do everything possible to expedite the adoption process. 

The following is a list of items that must be completed before you can take your puppy home:

1. Completed adoption application
2. Reference checks
3. Veterinary check
4. Home visit
5. Puppy visit

Many people tell us that it is as difficult to adopt a puppy from us as it is a child.  That is because we see our puppies as a new member of the family.  We want to ensure that this is the puppy's permanent home.  We know that there are times that things change in everyone's life, which is why we will always take our puppies back. 

We currently only adopt to homes within 100 miles of Albany and Hudson, 30 miles of Lowville, New York and within 5 miles of New York City.  Please feel free to contact us with specific questions.  Please note that you must have a fenced in yard and that we do not consider electric fences of any kind.  If you have questions about this policy, please feel free to contact us directly. 

Our adoption fee is $250. 

This includes all vet care (as age appropriate).
