Abby and Otis

Otis (the Dane on the right) was my first official rescue dog. I adopted him at the age of three and was his third home. On the drive home, I thought "I am bringing home a 150 pound dog that I do not know". This was the only negative thought in almost 7 years. Every day with Otis was a pleasure, he was my "heart dog" and an ingrained part of my soul. Although he is gone, he helped us mold many puppies before he crossed the bridge. Abby (the Leonberger on the left) is my "alpha who rules with a giant loving paw". She tolerates all of these crazy puppies, but is quick to teach them to respect their elders. She is the other part of my heart.
